Metamorphosis of Ukrainian Ornaments on Slavic-Romance Borderland of Ukraine

The purpose of the article is to define metamorphosis in Ukrainian ornamentation based on principles gradualism and punctualism, which allows us determine evolutionary gradual approach due mimesis discrete according poiesis. research methodology methods semiotic epistemological analysis, system-analytical comparative-historical methods. method has been used philosophical meaning symbols patterns.
